Lumina Dental Institute runs a small number of in person intensives each year. The format is deliberately narrow: a bench, a cohort of twenty five, and instructors who stay on the floor.

Dr. Oliveira-Haas built Lumina around the part of teaching she trusts most: standing next to a dentist at a bench, watching the hands, and correcting the work while it is still in progress. She has held academic appointments across five universities and teaches the reasoning before the technique.
